In the heart of Samedan, the Canova family has run Hotel Restorant Central since 1984, in an Engadine house dating from the 17th century. The house is known for its homemade ravioli and noodles made without preservatives or additives – such as Ravioli Valtellina, Graubünden-style ravioli or, in autumn, venison ravioli with porcini sauce. In the evening you dine in the historic Stüva (parlour) or the Sulér (entrance hall), and outside in fine weather. Booking is strongly recommended; closed on Tuesdays.
15 minutes by train or bus from Bever – you can leave the car behind. Reservations: strongly recommended, by phone.
