At Ristorante Da Franco on Via dal Farrer, Alex Franco, who hails from the province of Padua, cooks contemporary Italian food. The heart of the menu is fresh homemade pasta – bigoli cacio e pepe, cappellaccio with burrata or tagliolini with black truffle, for example; bread and desserts are made in-house too. It is open from morning coffee through to dinner, and the terrace looks out over Lake Silvaplana. A bottle from the well-stocked wine cellar rounds things off.
