19 min by train and bus

Saluver, on the edge of Celerina towards Samedan, has been run as a family business since 1986 and is open 365 days a year. In the cosy Engadine parlour the focus is on fish: sole, trout or sea bass in a salt crust, alongside Graubünden classics such as Capuns and Pizzoccheri. Regulars swear by the house speciality “Mah Meh”, a spicy Indonesian noodle dish. The restaurant belongs to the Guild of Established Chefs and the Tafelgesellschaft zum Goldenen Fisch; at lunchtime there is a good-value two-course menu.
