13 min by car

The bistro of the Engadin butcher Hatecke on Via Maistra combines a stylish meat boutique with a small, simple restaurant. Meat from local animals is processed here, and it takes centre stage on the plate as well: hand-cut tartare, carpaccio, braised ox cheek or boiled beef. Hot food is served all day, and in summer there is also grilling in front of the shop. The Michelin Guide includes the bistro in its selection. Ideal for a lunch stop while strolling through the village; closed in the evening and on Sundays.
