At the Hotel Longhin on the main road in Maloja, host Dominik does all the cooking himself: chestnut dishes made with fruit from the chestnut grove below Soglio, traditional home-style cooking and changing seasonal menus. Every Thursday there is the 'Plaudertisch' (chatting table), where everyone eats together whatever comes to the table. It is open in the evening only and only by prior booking: if you have not reserved by 4 pm on the day, you may find the door locked.
