The Grand Restaurant at the five-star Kronenhof is a festive 19th-century hall with a neo-baroque vaulted ceiling and ceiling and wall paintings by the Bernese “hotel painter” Otto Haberer. The kitchen serves Swiss specialities and international dishes, refined with French technique and regional produce, accompanied by an extensive wine list. A vegetarian menu is available on request. In the evening an elegant dress code applies, with a jacket for gentlemen.
