Bergrestaurant Alp Languard

Mountain restaurant

12 min by car · to the starting point

Alp Languard lies at 2,325 m right by the top station of the chairlift from Pontresina and belongs to the Sporthotel Pontresina. From the terrace the view stretches across to Piz Palü and the Bernina massif – perfect for an alpine breakfast with mountain cheese and yoghurt from Bever, served until 10:30. At lunchtime there are homemade Pizzoccheri, Älplermaccaroni (alpine macaroni with potatoes and cheese) or barley soup, and for dessert the seven-centimetre-high cream slice. Children love the ibex playground right next door, and the alp is also the starting point for hikes to the Schafberg or the Paradis hut.

Our hosts' tip

Only reachable by lift, train or on foot – the car stays at the starting point. Reservations: recommended for groups, by phone.
