Alp Grüm at 2,091 m can only be reached by the Bernina Railway or on foot – and that is exactly its charm. From the Albergo’s sun terrace the view reaches the Palü Glacier and plunges deep down into Valposchiavo. In the wood-panelled dining room you are served regional classics such as Pizzoccheri (buckwheat pasta), Capuns (chard parcels) and homemade sausages. A lovely destination for a day on the Bernina Express or a hike from the Bernina Pass.
Only reachable by lift, train or on foot – the car stays at the starting point. Reservations: by phone or email; recommended for groups.
