Voted the most beautiful spot in Switzerland in 2007: from Preda station a rooty forest path climbs about 150 m in 35–45 minutes to the mountain lake; there is hardly any parking at the lake itself, so park at the station. By Rhaetian Railway from Bever in about 20 minutes, during the day usually changing in Samedan. Barbecue spot on the shore.

How to get there
To Preda station (car park), then 40 min on foot – by car only over the Albula Pass (open roughly May/June to November/December, depending on snow), otherwise by RhB train from Bever (about 20 min).
