Hike to the Es-cha hut

From Madulain station through stone pine and larch forest and over sunny slopes past Alp Es-cha Dadour to the Chamanna d'Es-cha (2594 m): 5.9 km, almost 900 m of ascent, a good 2½ hours. A stucco ceiling in the parlour; open in summer until 18 October 2026, in winter 2027 from 13 February to 17 April.
16 minutes by train or bus from Bever – you can leave the car behind.
