Bever Lodge on Via Maistra is a modern timber hotel in the heart of the village, built as Switzerland’s first modular hotel made entirely of wood. In the bright restaurant and on the sun terrace, regional and seasonal dishes are served – in autumn, for example, venison ragout and sliced roe deer, plus Pizzoccheri, pasta and a vegetarian plate. At lunchtime there is an affordable dish of the day, and in the afternoon the lounge and bar by the open fire invite you in for coffee and homemade cake. An easy-going meeting place after a day on the cross-country trails or the bike.
