From mid-September to mid-October the roaring of the stags echoes through the valleys, most impressively in the Val Trupchun in the National Park. The park's guided day excursion takes about 6–7 hours over 10 km, in 2026 from 18 September to 16 October; adults CHF 40, children CHF 20, booking required. Don't forget binoculars.
